We kept the environment and our bodies in mind when creating our tubs. Our tubs are crafted from high-quality, food-grade materials to ensure durability, safety and comfort. Our steel tubs feature galvanized steel, known for its strength and excellent heat retention. Our portable tubs are made from the highest quality food-grade TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), which is extremely durable, eco-friendly, chemical-free and recyclable. We don’t want you soakin’ in chemicals!

Our galvanized steel tubs are designed for long-term durability, and with the right maintenance and proper care, can last a lifetime. The portable tubs, made from high quality, food-grade TPU, are also designed to be highly durable and resistant to wear, lasting decades even with regular use in outdoor environments. To maximize their lifespan, we recommend regular cleaning and proper winterization.

Stoke & Soak tubs heat up using a food-grade stainless steel coil and a natural process called thermo-siphoning—no electricity or pumps required! As the fire warms the coil, hot water naturally rises and flows back into the tub, while cooler water cycles in to be heated. This steady circulation keeps the water warming efficiently, powered purely by the magic of fire and physics.

Heating time depends on several factors, including the size of the tub, the temperature of the water when you fill it, and the temperature outside. On average, you can expect the tub to heat up in 1-3 hours. Using warmer water to start and maintaining a strong fire will speed up the process, while colder conditions naturally take a bit longer.
Absolutely use the tub in the winter! We fill our tub with ice cold water in the middle of Canadian winter and have it steamin’ in a few hours. in just a couple of hours.
A helpful tip: placing some kind of padding or insulation underneath the tub (like foam board, wood slats or a thermal mat) can help retain heat and cut down on heating time, especially when it's freezing outside.

You can adjust the water temperature by letting the fire burn out or by reducing the amount of wood you add. If the water gets too hot, simply add cold water to cool it down. Since our system relies on natural convection, the water will continue circulating until the fire dies down.

Our portable tubs, include a light-weight water bucket that you can use to fill the tub from a natural water source, such as a stream, lake, ocean or river. Simply scoop the water into the bucket and pour it into the tub. Alternatively, you can use a garden hose or water pump if preferred and/or accessible.

Our propane burner is coming soon! We're currently working on developing an adapter that will allow you to heat your wood-fired hot tub with a propane burner for a convenient, alternative heating option. Especially ideal during our dry BC summers! Stay tuned for updates.
